Javier “Beto” Gamboa has worked with horses for over 30 years and comes from a family of successful equestrians. He is the youngest of five brothers all involved in the equine industry - four (including himself) are trainers and one is an equine veterinarian. His father began training horses in 1948, so it’s safe to say, this is more than just a hobby.  Javier has competed both nationally and internationally since the age of 10 and began teaching and training in Colombia, South America at the age of 18. He later moved to the United States in 1986, where he has continued his equine career. His love for dressage started later in life thanks to eventing and has blossomed in to a passion like none other. Javier is striving to obtain his bronze medal in the near future, and doesn’t seem to be stopping there. He still manages to maintain a professional career training horses and giving approximately 40 lessons per week to his students.
